We follow the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023.
Your church decides what happens in its spaces. Fello runs the service for it.
Each church's data sits in its own separate database.
You can see, correct, export or delete your data at any time.
If there is a data breach that puts you at risk, we will tell you and the regulator quickly.
For your Fello account, Fello Technologies Limited is the data controller. For what happens inside a church workspace, such as member lists and service records, the church is the controller and Fello processes that data on its behalf, following the church's instructions.
We use your data because you agreed to it when you joined, because we need it to run the service you asked for, or because the law requires it. You can withdraw your consent at any time in Settings.
Each church's messages, studies, service records and gifts are stored in a separate database from every other church. We use trusted providers for hosting, calls, streaming, payments and SMS, and we will list them here before launch.
We keep your data while your account is active. When you delete your account, we remove your personal data, except records the law requires us to keep, such as payment receipts.
You can ask to see the data we hold about you, correct it, get a copy, delete it, or object to how we use it. Most of this can be done in Settings. For anything else, email dpo@fello.ng and we will reply within the time the law allows.
Children's church and Sunday school units may include young people. A parent or guardian must agree before a child under 18 joins Fello, and church admins should only add children with that consent.
If a data breach is likely to put your rights at risk, we will report it to the Nigeria Data Protection Commission and tell the people affected as quickly as we can.
Email dpo@fello.ng or write to the Data Protection Officer, Fello Technologies Limited, Lagos, Nigeria.
